I don't think that was grammatically correct

Alun Cairns, however, resigned (as indeed he should have done), but immediately announced he's standing for re-election. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-50302173 Not enough in the world.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Anyone in Bristol West? Looks like the Lib Dem candidate is stepping aside for the Green candidate.

Thangham Debbonaire (who I think is pretty good really) had an enormous majority for Labour there last time. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out. If anywhere in Bristol elected a Green it'd probably be there.

This time round he'll lose the vote from the people who just liked hearing Bercow saying his name.

No, but I'm in Montgomeryshire and my Plaid Cymru candidate is stepping aside for the Lib Dems.
I am genuinley raging about it, I appreciate not wanting the Tory back in, but I don't vote Tory, I vote Plaid because I want to vote for a Party for Wales NOT the Lib Dems, who I won't be voting for anyway.
It just feels very undemocratic. We only get to have a small say once in while, and now that's been taken away.

Haven't we all been muttering about remain pacts? There's so much risk of alienating as many people as you attract though.

Jo Swinson was doing a Q&A at a local forest school that one of my pals works in, and her list of demands before doing it was beyond fucking vile.

Re: Ho ho ho! Merry Election 2019?
The school caters for children between one and five years old and the school is based on 3 floors, and this 'Q&A' with parents is being held on the middle floor. However:
No children are allowed on the middle floor.
Nobody is allowed to ask questions, they are basically planting people to ask them.
Nobody is allowed to use the car park apart from her, and no deliveries were to be taken.
On leaving the school, the children are to be lined up to cheer her out, but none are to address, or even approach her.
Any child that appears to be overcome with emotion (excited or upset) is to be removed from any camera sight, and screaming will not be tolerated.
There were some more things that I can't remember but will pass them on as soon as I do.

Oh :woteva:
Planting people to ask questions is particularly questionable.

I really don’t like the plant thing.
They are all twats to some degree or other.
