A bacon sandwich apology is pretty good, Is.

Oh, Beatrix what a waste of sauce! But also  And I hope you got the last of the sauce to pour over your pudding!

Sticky toffee might go some way to making broccoli edible (I hate it) It's a shame about the roast potatoes, though.

Stick toffee roast potatoes sounds like it would be a traditional dish in America. Sorry, Five.

Nice work, Is.

I know someone who this happened to in a pub in Bristol, with a Sunday roast - they brought out a caramel sauce instead of gravy by mistake and my friend didn’t notice till it was too late. Because it was their cockup they brought her out a fresh roast but she had to wait ages for it and her friends were all eating their puddings (with guess what sauce) by the time her main arrived :))

That very much cheered Chunk up. He recently poured his sister’s cup of tea all over his sausage, mash & peas and was furious about it at the time.

 My Dad did that once - arrived home from work just as we were sitting down to eat and so served himself from the dishes in the kitchen, which included pouring the sauce intended to be served over ice cream for pudding all over his meal. Oh how we laughed :))

I did it school once and poured chocolate custard over my chips. I vividly remember the white hot embarrassment and also devastation at ruining my chips.
