I feel your pain, I had to get my whole living room repainted when the grey I chose turned out to be lilac

Re: FML
I can't bear lilac. Grey is so tricky isn't it. I painted my bathroom grey and it was almost green. I can't stand green walls. Now it's a better grey, but I wish I had stuck with Timeless.

When I finally got Sb1's dad out of the flat I painted the front room fully llilac purple! It was 1998.i think it was supposed to be really "in". Omg I also painted my bedroom fluro green! I painted Sb1's room lilac and blue. I painted the toilet yellow, orange and red! I think I was in crisis!

I'm reasonably sure that there is an OPI nail polish called Purple With a Purpose.

Lilac was very late 90s. I was about to paint the bedroom lilac and turquoise when I left my ex in 1999; I reckon the house had as lucky an escape as I didMarth wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 8:20 pm When I finally got Sb1's dad out of the flat I painted the front room fully llilac purple! My teen bedroom was one yellow wall, two blue & white striped wallpapered wall, one wall of sliding wardrobes. Sunflowers everywhere.
Then I purposely painted over it in purple.

Re: FML
My first bedroom as a baby / child had yellow walls and a blue ceiling to look like fields and the sky apparently (with glow in the dark stars of course). That was my parents' one and only deviation from the true path of magnolia, until 20 years later post-divorce when my mum painted the kitchen postbox red (there's actually very little wall visible so it's not all that dramatic).

L’s walls are bright orange although a fair amount is hidden by his high bed (dark blue) and built in desk and shelves. It was surprisingly nice even when you could see all of it though.

I still haven’t had my Covid antibody test results back so I’ve chased the lab and sent in the form and ID as requested along with a massive close up selfie with mental hair (accidental).
I’d sent the photo to my friend to show her how huge my hair was that day in particular.
