today is not going well for me. I ran out of coffee, forgot my security tags and I have a day long meeting. FML.

ALL the things are broken at home. Our phone is playing up, the laptop (and I think hard drive) are broken, and MrP is getting a new windscreen. Stupidly he hasn't listened to me about backing up the laptop of any of the many portable drives we have, so has probably lost a crap load of work.

I've had a delicious coffee and a blackberry danish pastry so am nicely set up for the day now. Unfortunately I only have really dull stuff on my to-do list (presentation planning and writing up notes) so the only things keeping me going are my trip to the shops at lunchtime and poppng in to birthday drinks in Exmouth Market on my way home tonight.

Brilliant. Got a big team meeting today which is fine that starts at 9.30. Agenda was distributed last night after I'd left work.

Opened it just now and first agenda item is

Vermilingua to give presentation on something he knows almost nothing about but happened to attend a call on about three weeks ago.

Nice. No time to prepare anything. Well. I could prepare something rather than typing this but where's the fun in that?

I am concentrating on the good rather than the bad. :polyanna:

My crazy school run is over and wasn't too bad. We were early for everything and I still managed to get Zoe back to bed for 9am

I have taken drugs and will soon have tea and maybe a crumpet so this is helping me feel better.

Morning all! My, some days are really looking lovely and some are looking decidedly less so. I hope everyone's day is very soon TOP NOTCH. Oh, I do like a nice capital letter.

I am travelling nowhere, I am staying at my desk and working today. And maybe doing my nails and other procrastinaty things.

I am a little bit tired, but I got a few hours with Beardy at the airport last night before he went down to his family, it was brilliant

to see each other, even if it was in sad circumstances. I am still quite the mush, I was all "ohhh, but his eyes are so BLUE" in my brain, and then forgetting to answer his questions. Love makes us all utter and complete morons, tis a universal truth.

I may also have inadvertently sparked off a school reunion plan on Facebook.

Now for tea, granola, and oranges.
