Short nails can be painted too! Some colours even look better on shorter nails, I think.

Pov, you are awesome, as usual, we need a lottery win so we can start our business, or maybe just a lottery grant... :puzz: Will they give us money to pain our nails do you think?

Yes, because it's therapy. Like that bollocks when they stick needles in you and shit, or when you sniff random stuff, or eat pot pourri.

I am not going to the Pov/Shoe/Benny salon if they're going to make me eat pot pourri

I will not make you eat pot pourri, just those Chinese Herbal Doctors make you do it don't they? And that's medicine or therapy or something, so I think we can argue painting nails cures all ills also. without having to drink freeze dried mushrooms with boiling water poured on them.

My plan, if I ever got to do this, was to see if I could be a visiting manicurist at old people's homes. I reckon the old ladies would like hand massages and maybe a bit of polish and someone to talk to for a bit. I don't know who would pay for it though...

That's a nice idea Bean, I'm not sure you'd make a living out of it though.

That would be ace Bennington. Perhaps the nursing home that is charging £1000 a week per person could dip into their ridiculous profits?

That is already a thing, isn't it? I think it's a lovely idea, people in institutions need to retain their dignity and nice nails and hair and makeup would be a big help. Although, as you all say, I'm not sure the people who do it are paid anything :(

This is a question I can answer! The next of kin is billed for it, along with haircuts, chiropody and a fuckton of toiletries and "sundries". Money goes fast when you live in a nursing home!
