Sequins and glitter: Tis the season to sparkle

Post by smalex »

Well, sort of. Nearly. Soon.

Anything caught your eye?

I like both of these

I love the second, and have one pretty much the same.

I have seen a Joanie skirt that I love. https://joanieclothing.com/product/hann ... rose-gold/

I thought I'd seen someone here with one similar. I had a bronze sequin mini skirt which I loved but I shrank out of it, so a replacement is overdue.

Show!

eta: Oh you did. That's lush. I really like it.

I also have one very like the second. Possibly I copied Pip again?

I like the gold one too.

I remember Pip and Ken's ones and quite fancied one. Where is that second one from, Smal?

Mine & Ken’s was H&M.

I think M&S have one similar to the Joanie one.

I want some sort of piece of clothing with those sequins that can be brushed in one direction or another to change colour, but equally I don't want people touching me so it's probably a bad idea :(

I have a sequinned skirt from last year. I want a black top to go with it and found the perfect one in Next, a thin black sweater and didn't buy it and now can't find it again.

That’s what so annoying about Next. I have to add everything I like as I see it to the basket so I can find it again later.

I have one of these from Warehouse - I'm not sure how helpful that is though as it wasn't this year. :look:

I impulse bought this a while back as I have sparkly-top shaped hole in my wardrobe that I regret this time every year (the black bit you can see in the neckline is a black grosgrain ribbon that you tie to fasten the back). I plan on wearing it with black skinny jeans. Last year I bought the world's sparkliest trousers from JD Williams and will likely be pulling them out again. Thought probably not together with this top. Or maybe I should...

I never need an excuse to buy more sequinned things and love those two skirts, Smal!

I’ll be on the lookout for a few more bits when I get paid, however I took my sequinned bomber jacket to NY and vowed to wear it more here as I forgot how much I love it.
