Oh, that sounds good, thank you. Frumpy is what was concerning me with the longer length but I can't do short shorts. I'll add them in.

I can't remember how to link but it's this:

Not very exciting but it's a shape that suits me. The other more interesting prints have gone out of stock :(

I'm saying "add them in" but they're not M&S are they. Boden?

That's cute! The shorts are M&S. I think the blue are OOS though.

Yes, sold out. All that's left is Per Una and I did say I was concerned about frump so I think I'll give those a miss. I'll try to check out Matalan and Primark though, thanks Lora.

I got a couple of these pairs a few months back. They are just the right length, Toast.

These are a bit boring, but I bought a couple of these shirt things online and they've just arrived. The only proper picture is in blue, but I bought one in white and one in "shirting stripe".

This picture shows the shape (but not the colour).

Image
Does it look ok?

The picture below strobes a bit but it shows a close-up of the striped one. NOW: does this look like the uniform of a person who works on a hospital ward, say? You have to click on it to see it properly.

I have a chambray dress in that exact style - just a bit longer, obvs. I like it a lot. I don't think the stripes are too hospital chic.

I like that very much. Did you get the blue as well? Because if not, I think you should. It's a lovely blue.

Thanks, guys. I think I'll keep them. Well, try them on again in a couple of days and decide then, most likely.. (No, annoyingly the blue was sold out!)

I love the sleeve and over-all shape, and the stripes don't seem institutional at all :))

I think they look fine! I like narrow sripes.

Mrs D's mission to convert us all to COS lovers did well over the weekend, I bought this dress and this top. As ever, assume they look a bit different when worn by normal people :)) (being a COS model must be the easiest gig ever - "slouch here and don't bother with an expression. Perfect!" )

Lovely things, Liv.

I bought a dress and culottes from Cos recently but they looked so bad on the model/ hanger that I didn't post them. :))

I'm surprised they sell anything online; it all looks completely hideous

I love Cos stuff but their online styling is dreadful.

I had to buy a t shirt st lunch because a pony took a chunk out of one yesterday whilst I was out on a walk

I bought some things in H&M.

Raincoat. It's hard to find a raincoat I don't hate and I am surprisingly pleased with this one, although I appreciate it's not everyone's kind of thing. It does the job though, it kept me dry when it was hurling it down this morning.
Grey Raincoat.jpg
Black cotton trousers - I have the same pair in blue paisley and they are super soft and comfy.

Cargo skirt - bit of a departure from the norm for me but I really like it.

It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "what about lunch?"
