I absolutely hate it

It's such a waste of Oak. (well, tbf, I guess the basic house is still lovely).

OMG, the dust! It's like a theme park.

I’m sure I’ve seen that on tv in something.

I kind of love the kitchen island, but the rest isn't particularly to my taste, and I actively dislike the book wallpaper in one of the gallery nooks.

It's so mad! There's only two bedrooms, and yet there's a 3-stall public loo set-up in one area.

I agree, H1ppy, willing to pay for larger-than-life handcarved figureheads for the four poster bed, but let's not buy a job lot of actual books to make the library look nice

Not the greatest fan of the main house but I do like the land especially the canon.

I think I hate it. I started off thinking it would be fun. Then I thought it might be OK with different furniture. Then, I thought I could live with it if some of the wood was painted. Then I wanted to set fire to the whole place. I could live in that cottage that comes with it.

I was just about to say Beatrix it reminds me of the themed hotels at euro Disney!

I love the pool but the pirates are creepy and hideous.

I love the built in larder cupboard next to the banquette seating but the labelling on the drawers Snackies anyone? The tiki bar too!

It's all quite tasteful until snackies That palm roof is going to look like a sopping, mouldy rag within weeks.

My main takeaway is... how many seats in the garden do the stylists think people needs?!

It’s lovely, but I also cringed at “snackies” and am pondering what country the garden designers think we live in. That’s definitely a warmer-climate set up there - so far this year you’d have been able to use it for 10 days

And where would you put all of the chairs/sunloungers/cushions when it's raining like it is today? From the floorplan it looks like behind the bar there's a shed but it wouldn't all fit in there. There is very little storage throughout actually.

It looks quite American to me, lack of storage aside ;).

Isn't it just a show home though? So all furniture gets removed when it's bought anyway, and much of it may have been for "lifestyle photos" only.

For that price I'd want more than a shoehorned-in house on a new build development.

I have a personal dislike of new builds though.
