I just bought this desk after a lot of discussion. S found a gorgeous vintage one online and we were about to buy it after having checked courier costs and it was sold about 10 mins after we called

Not a new purchase but I finally got round to having this £10 gumtree chair recovered. The original cover was dirty and a yellowy colour so I had a cover made that I can take off and bung in the washing machine.

The fabric was a duvet cover from asda!

I’ve bought a few things. The biggest things are new sofas for the living room (two of them) I really wanted them in navy velvet but MrE didn’t. And I lost that argument. And this dining table. I was planning on getting yellow leather chairs with oak legs to go with them, and have had them pinned for ages and now they have been discontinued and are out of stock

I'm thinking of getting some cotton ball lights for the living room. I've got cable and cotton ones in W's room and they're lovely, but I'm baulking at the cost a bit (£40 for a set of 35).

Good idea, they're only doing it off specific colour sets at the moment though. I'll follow their page and wait for a generic code to come up. Its not like I need them urgently
