Re: Animals strike curious poses
We had sad news about Molly last week - unfortunately she’s got a tumour on her liver and she isn’t going to be with us for too much longer, and she’s at home
for palliative care. Obviously we are all completely gutted here, but at the moment she is eating well and seems very happy and content, so we are just making the most of what time we have left with her.
She’s always trying to get in the Tesco van, and has managed it a couple of times before being turfed out. After collecting eldest’s stuff from her uni flat this week we thought we would fulfil a bucket list item for Molly and let her have a look around the van we hired. She spent about 20 minutes in there having the time of her life.

Re: Animals strike curious poses
Thanks everyone - we had the news last Thursday and as she had been so poorly the vet thought she maybe had a few days to a week. Luckily she’s a naughty tortie, and doesn’t ever do what she’s told, so she’s her usual shouty, naughty self at the moment!
Her other treats so far have included unfettered access to the airing cupboard, copious amounts of these weird fish stick things she likes, and being allowed to lie where she’s not supposed to on the bed.

I’m sorry about Molly’s prognosis but how lovely she got to fulfil her ambitions.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Oh, lovely Molly. I'm so sorry
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

Re: Animals strike curious poses
Thanks all again - she’s 8, hopefully 9 on 14th Sept, so not very young, but sadly not hugely old either.
She’s a gorgeous cat with loads of personality, she’s going to be very missed, that’s for sure.
