Tom came in around 4:30am to join me and is showing no sign of wanting to move. He's currently snoring away, it's a lovely start to the weekend

Bella's keeping a close eye on the neighbourhood.

 What a nosy neighbour! Did she have you move the stool into position?

The stool was already there, conveniently!

I still think Bella convinced you it should go there; she's playing the long game :))

I don't have a photo of this but I keep laughing at it, so hope it translates. The other day Olga was very cross with Otis for some reason (usual state of affairs) so he was sensibly keeping out of her way. Her ire couldn't dampen his general joy at life though, and he clearly needed to popcorn*, so he kept coming out from under the mezzanine where he was hiding, doing a little hop and skip around and scurrying back, which in turn made Olga more furious

*Twisty jumps that guinea pigs do when they are particularly happy. They usually grow out of it by Otis's age but he's just made of happy.

Oh, bless him, I’m glad he’s so happy! My cats also popcorn. We call it the same thing 🍿.

I’ve just lost some time to popcorning video compilations and I don’t regret a second it it.

I'm going to give him a bath this week. That'll curb his joy :look:

Oh, I love Prudence! :love2:

Popcorning is such a cute descriptor - I love that, Lora. Irrepressible Otis and grumpy Olga!

This old man is sleeping off a long vet appointment (and cuddling socks belonging to the small humans). He had a funny turn on Sunday evening and I really feel that if I hadn’t heard him meow and been in the right place at the right time, I’d have lost him. It was both scary yet calm. He rallied quickly afterwards and the vet thinks it was possibly dehydration. However, he’s lost quite a chunk of weight so he’s had blood taken for a thyroid and kidney screen (both ongoing issues but perhaps medication needs adjusting). Further tests could be necessary if those tests don’t highlight anything.

He’s still having a good quality of life and loves his humans very much.

ETA: they put dye in his eyes so that’s why he’s got bright yellow tears!

Oh he’s so lovely Cerise, I hope he’s okay.

Teddy isn’t allowed upstairs, however I felt sorry for him :ella: so let him follow me around while I did some housework. Changing the bed has ground to a halt though .

ETA: there was a noise outside! Quick, investigate!
