I took a role in May and it's been an absolute shambolic clusterfuck from day 1. I just accepted another role and handed in my notice. I'm pretty exhausted. 3 roles since February now.

New place sounds really promising, and I know someone there who's told me about it warts and all so I'm going on eyes open. Hopefully.

Please send turtle power. I am likely to be given my notice soon for long and dull contract delivery/financial reasons, none of them to do with my standard of work. There is a possibility they will want me back in future but I can't hang around for that. I have been quite stressed as I hate being out of work, though I accept as a contract worker I have to suck it up. To be honest I am exhausted and very run down so a break might do me good physically.

Then completely out of the blue an old work friend who is in the city centre now has got in touch to ask about my situation because she has a part time role starting after Christmas. She has to go through a third party supplier who may already have someone but if they don't it could be me. If I could pick my perfect next step this would be it. Part time! A commute I can walk! Working with F (she's my old boss and we got on like a house on fire)! Security for a year!
