Yoga last night was lovely. I cycled there and back, and then to Tesco by mistake, which was not so lovely, but at least I'm getting better at it.

An update for the June thread, my PT is out of intensive care. They're making plans to get her back to Brussels and into therapy/ rehabilitation.

Oh, that's great news Hazey!

I'm dressed for a 5km run once I drop J at school. I've had to dig my full length tights out as it's cold out there!

Cycled to the gym, had a workout, cycled home, got a bit lost, but found a nice journey which avoids the traffic so I can use it during rush hour.

I'm doing nothing but running just now which is a bit dull to post about. 7km this afternoon. It was 26 degs and I was a sweaty mess. If this is the middle of winter, I'm screwed come summer.

My posts are always dull, but I like keeping a log of what I'm doing.

Workout tonight. Cycled there, cycled back.

I've not run in ages and I would like to get back to it. Mostly because MrMcLip is at it and I don't want to be left behind, but it's finding the time as well as the motivation.

My usual Pilates class is over for the summer, she's running Monday classes but they clash with yoga, and I think I prefer yoga, plus I don't want to lose my place in that class. So I've started trying a Pilates class at the local leisure centre, and it's been different but good. Annoyingly they're booked up for next Thursday, so I've booked a later session in Ashby the same night, and decided to bite the bullet and book a Sunday session with the teacher from the class I've done tonight because I've really warmed to him. Everyone in the class has been dead nice and encouraging.

It's nice to find a new class you settle in with.

PT tonight. VERY hard work. I did this abs crunch with a rope which turns me in two. Iz said I'm the only one of her clients flexible enough to do it. :flirt: Flexible, or foolish.

Yep, I struggle with fitting running in too. It's fine now it's winter and I'm working part time, as it's feasible to run during the day, but come spring, it's going to be an issue.

Good that you've found another class you like. I've never done pilates before. Is it one where they use that thing that looks like a torture rack?

Ran 10.6km this morning. It was lovely. I was a bit slower than usual but I ended up doing a pretty hilly route which explains it.

This afternoon's Pilates was much gentler than Thursday, with the same guy. I doubt I'm getting any better. :))
