I’ve just read this entire thread after seeing that article. You’re an absolute warrior, Tex, well done! I would never be able to stick to anything like this
I would instantly have to cheat on the food & have fewer meals.

Thanks Lola. Having MrTex doing it as well made it much easier. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to prep and eat all the food if you were trying to do it on your own.

I think if we did it, it would end up with me doing all the prep & delivering food to Mr L every 2 hours while he’s busy in Teams meetings all day, as that is what his job seems to to consist of. So, no to that ;) The fitness side would be more doable though.

Quick update. We’re stuck to the 5:2 maintenance (i.e. following the rules 5 days a week and all bets are off for the other 2) and it’s not been particularly difficult. I’m not following the daily press-ups etc but I am running 3 times a week and doing Jillian Michaels workouts 3 times. It’s working well so far, this is my weight graph since the last day of the program (obviously Christmas/NY was a bit of a free for all).
