I was thinking I should have run this morning when I was wide awake (but I was also slightly hungover so prob best I didn’t). Anyway, I did a very gentle yoga class tonight and feel so incredibly sleepy.

Oh god, I couldn't bear someone watching me doing my jumping lunges. It's not a pretty sight.

I also feel like I should have run yesterday evening instead of walking as I was very bouncy about it once I was out, but I had assumed I wouldn't be remotely bouncy in this weather and after a long walk on Sunday. So I did a speedy 6 miles, walking like an over caffeinated busybody. That's 19.5 miles weekly total before the end of Monday.

I would not be up for people watching me exercise! :twitch: Unless I was doing pole-dancing or something. Very, very well.

I did my mechanical workout last night. It was good. I am VERY glad I've got one of those mesh tops and short shorts as I was dripping like a very unattractive tomato within 10 minutes.

I think legs, bums & tums is one of the hardest, most intense classes I’ve ever tried.

Les mills Sprint last night...hard, hot work. Also did an hour on my arms in the gym.

A lovely 10 miles on the bike this morning.
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

Spin tonight, which was a better class than last week. It was obviously very hot but the studio has air con. I was still dripping with sweat at the end and the class lasted the full 45 minutes. They used to only do 40 minutes but now they do the full 45 minutes. I bet some cunt complained about the classes being short :verm:

:)) Sal.

I tried Sh’bam tonight, and it didn’t thrill me. It might have been the video I chose, but I felt like a twat swaggering and trying to do hip hop moves in my kitchen.

Oh dear, Pip :))

I would not like to do spinning in this weather :emme:

Club run tonight - local to me so I knew the route, and the hills, well.

4 mile run in the park, including some hill sprints.

If I tried to do hip hop moves in my kitchen I'd almost certainly injure myself quite gravely.

People are still at it despite this mental heat.

Jo and I just went out and did our usual but we had to walk the last part, it was just so draining. That said, we were only four minutes off of our best so it was a bloody good run out.

I'm impressed, I'm whinging like a toddler if I have to walk about today!

Usual Wednesday morning weightlifting. Today we learned push-presses.

I played rugby tonight, but we didn’t go as long as usual, mainly because the boys were being knobs. Then I came home to pick up my kit and went and did 30 lengths in the pool with my friend.

Cardio Sculpt and Body Balance this morning and the regular teacher is back next week so it’s back to Dance Step then. I think I prefer Cardio Sculpt but will see what I can fit in.

I definitely feel fitter, after a few weeks off from those classes but still doing other stuff, I noticed the difference.

Gym this evening and Wednesday night too. I might go tomorrow morning; the exercise is distracting which is nice.

I’ve managed to hurt my glute/piriformis or something during Tuesday’s hills

I rested it and tried a gentle jog on Friday night but it hurt loads so I had to stop.

I’ve decided to take a whole week out, which is upsetting as I felt like I was really making progress. I’ve a 5k club race this Thursday that I’ll miss, and may not make the relay that I’ve entered in a couple of weeks

However, I have been on the exercise bike and done some abs and arms (yesterday), and bike again and swimming (first time in about 3 years) today.

Spin again this evening. The fecking air con didn't seem to be working, and worse it was CrotchGuy doing the class! I avoid booking his fucking classes and still I end up with the prick :tantrum: The only small bonus was that he stopped at 40 minutes. It was torturous though.

You’re right, Pip. In my defence, I was a few days behind :))
