Re: Show Us Your Food
Thank you, it was lovely. This is only the second time I've had it but I was drunk and sharing it the other time.
I can see the peach working nicely and I'd quite like it on a broad bean pesto bruschetta type of affair.

That looks amazing. I might see if I can track some down and recreate that.

Trader Joes have nice burrata. WF will do it too but it'll be $$$!

Oh hell yes. You can't share a burrata, if you cut it in two it's too hard to fairly divide the oozy parts, so you have to have a whole one to yourself. SURELY.

It was you I shared my first one with! And tabs. I did want you to both disappear for that moment so I could have it all to myself.

A couple from this week - steak, asparagus and my first air fried chips and tomato and basil risotto which was delicious. I also made lamb chops with tomato and basil Israeli couscous and roasted aubergine and tamale pie but neither were very photogenic!

That all looks great, Jet, but especially the risotto. Do you have a recipe? It looks scrumptious!

It's this - http://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1014 ... il-risotto
Mr J was raving about it so much that he's decided he wants to learn to make risotto now.

Re: Show Us Your Food
Just chips cooked in an air fryer (small amount of oil and some herbs and seasoning).
I bought an air fryer (like an actifry but it's another brand) on amazon prime day. It's actually come in handy for cooking and not turning on the oven :texas: I've cooked porschetta pork chops in it and stuff for the kids and random veg for us.

Oh, I'd never heard of those (and I've never really known what an actifry was). Is it good? I know that eventually when the kitchen is finally done I will need some sort of plug in cooking appliance so I should think about these things.

Here is my delicious chip-stuffed burger. The only thing I'd change would be to make the burger a bit rarer, bit even still it was pretty damned good.

That chip poking out of the side is pinchable.
I remembered I love raw tomato linguine so I made some.
