Aha, I did wonder. I'll give it a listen and see if my judgement antennae twitches.

I know what MFM is but MEN? I'm open to being swayed by a podcast.
Oops, typo! I meant MFM.

I've never watched any real crime before but recently watched Evil Genius which was OK but really not that interesting a crime in the sense that it was perfectly obvious to me how it went down. Law enforcement were really incompetent.

I'm late to it but started watching Mindhunters last night. I'm loving it! I thought the concept sounded a bit dry which is why it took me a while to get round to it after recommendations on here, but it's got loads of humour in it.

I was just looking up when S2 of Mindhunter might be out earlier this week.

That's funny we were discussing when that would be back last night. It was very good.

I'm really not sure whether Michael Petersen did it or not. He seemed humorous and kind and his children clearly adored him. I have two episodes left.

Has anyone else watched Nanette yet?

It is a stand up by Hannah Gadsby and it is stunning. Kind of half stand up/half Ted Talk, really. Perfectly paced, really funny and I've laughed and gasped in horror and it made me sob. It is beautifully feminist and just brilliant.

I will add that to my list, it sounds good.

We're still working through The Staircase and Queer Eye, the bloody football is curtailing my ability to binge both as I would like. :ella:

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I was affected so strongly by something on TV.

We are working our way through the Staircase, and all I can think of is thank god I'm not on that jury - I think I'd have to vote for not guilty because there are just too many unanswered questions about her death that might be gamechangers. Although I don't like the husband much!

We also watched the pilot and first two episodes of The Marvellous Mrs Maisel on Amazon Prime last night and loved it. It's a period comedy-drama set in New York in the late 1950s about a wealthy Jewish housewife who ends up trying her hand at stand up comedy after her life goes a bit topsy turvey. It is beautiful to look at, funny and has a great cast, I am really looking forward to watching he rest of the first series.

I'll put that down to watch, Claude - I liked her in Please Like Me (on amazon).

I've started the Staircase so I'm avoiding all discussion here until it's finished, as I've encountered a twist and I'm really glad I didn't know about it beforehand.

I’m going to have to check out The Staircase now.

Someone IRL recommended Life in Pieces to me yesterday which is on Amazon Prime. Has anyone on here watched it?

We've just finished The Staircase, the final outcome was better than I expected having watched the whole thing unfold.
