Is that based on Bernard Cornwell‘s book? I love his books, although it’s been a long time since I’ve read them.

ITV Hub I think, I started watching it a little while ago, really enjoyed it and then somehow forgot about it (probably because I never think to look at ITV hub).

I honestly nearly gave up on it at this stage, it made me realise how I cannot cope with family arguments, even on TV.

It is indeed.

I don't know how closely it follows the book but it definitely has a bit of The Last Kingdom about it, so I would guess its pretty close!

It's not as I remember the book at all :)). I read the whole trilogy years ago, as did M, and we both loved them. The TV thing is good in its own right, but I don't think it bears much resemblance to the books.

We just finished that tonight. I didn't get into the last season at first but the last few episodes were brilliant. He's such a miserable bastard.

Yes, the baby bit stretched it a bit but there were so many laugh out loud moments. New Guy was definitely my favourite character.

I started Expats (Amazon) last night and can’t wait to watch another episode. Nicole Kidman is really good in it.

If anyone missed it on BBC, The Serpent is now on Netflix, and is really good.

It's a true story about a serial killer who preys on backpackers in SE Asia in the 70s (a drama series, not a documentary).

I liked it, as much for the depiction of Hong Kong as anything.

The Last Airbender was ok. It's made me want to watch the animated series which is also on Netflix so I think I will.

The animated series is delightful, keep going past the first few episodes and you will grow to love all of the characters, I promise.

I liked them in the live action one too. Paul is away for a few days soon so that will keep me occupied.

I’ve been really enjoying The Morning Show. Americans love telly about telly.

The Morning Show is great, I look forward to the next season. And I watched the trailer for Expats, which looked worth a try so that's on my list.

I got into the latest season of Love Is Blind when I was sick with flu. Perfect timing for binging something! New episodes have been released today, and I'm expecting a well-deserved crash and burn.
