:mog: Did I? I got rid of Netflix for a while though so that must be why it slipped my mind.

Memory of a goldfish! That was only three months ago to the day when I said I would watch it.

It's really good though (although shocking) so do actually watch it this time :))

:)) No I really will and I realised I went on holiday immediately after that post and then came back and went away again so completely forgot about it. I will watch this week.

I finally finished the Leftovers. Justin :flirt: That second to last episode though! I'll update on the right thread.

It's not Netflix but BBC iPlayer.

If you enjoy Horrible Histories watch Quacks. It's based in the early 19th century and is a comedy series about a surgeon, "a doctor of the mind" and a dentist. Hilariously funny, lots of gore and the whole series is only 3 hours long.

This happened to me too, it seemed a bit backward?

Maybe I'll try again.

It's brilliant. Is anyone else watching season 2 (not Netflix, I know)? I'm gripped. And depressed. :))

I've watched it. It was great (but bleak).

Ooh, I've been getting notifications about it being imminent but hadn't realised it had started. I'll wait until I can watch it all in one go though (I mean consecutively, not dedicate 8 hours straight) :look:

I have no idea where if anywhere it would be available for normal people ( ;) ) but we just finished watching The Good Place. It's Ted Danson running a version of heaven where a recently deceased Kristen Bell arrives despite not being a good person. It's funny and quite different. S2 is about to start, and there're 13 20-minute episodes in S1, so quite quick to watch.

Yes, I've watched all of the second series too and agree with Ella.

Thanks for the tip PG - I thought The Good Place was really interesting and quirky, curious as to where they'll take series 2.

I'm watching it on catch up at the moment (and am sadly almost caught up: we binged it over the weekend and it's been a while since anything has kept me that interested) so it's probably in that awkward timing of almost not being available from the beginning on catch up but not being on Netflix yet (cf: The Handmaid's Tale, which I had to stop as I was too behind on catch up and then went on holiday and my next episode got removed).

I think we'll watch the last episode that has been on telly tonight and then have to a wait a week between episodes like it's still 1975 or something.

Between binge watching that and binge reading The Girls I had a really jolly bank holiday full of joy about being a woman. :ruby:

If anyone has Amazon Prime, Halt and Catch Fire is really good. Especially if you have any geeky computer tendencies.

The Detectorists is a nice, gentle, funny, British comedy.

How odd, my app is still insisting TOTLake isn't out until 11th September. Maybe it's referring to some obscure French channel?

Yes, Del - how can they move The Good Place forward? I hope it's as good :)
