Thanks everyone!

I've been okay really, except the tiredness. I also forgot how much worse my anxiety gets when I'm pregnant 😔

Congratulations to both of you!

I thought twice about mentioning this but needed to share somewhere - my sil is pregnant. She found out on Wednesday and it’s absolutely terrible timing for them* so it’s a bit sensitive right now. Naturally she’s also feeling the lack of Christmas booze. She also found out she’s celiac just 6 months ago so I can tell she’s feeling like the odd bod.

I’m obviously happy for them but wish I could ease their worries somehow.

*sil just got laid off and started a new business. They need to move for various reasons but the mortgage will be tricky while self employed or on leave and then there’s leave when self employed or part time etc.

It really is so hard. I was about 5/6 weeks pregnant this time last year and that's when the sickness kicked in for me. The tiredness was awful too, but I couldn't nap in the day, like I could the first time around.

There is no other feeling like it. I hope it passes quickly for you.

I'm sorry, it's such a terrible time. Would it be worth trying the anti histamine anti sickness tablets?

It’s the worst, Beatrix! I used to set my alarm for about 2-3am - once I identified the time I was waking up to be sick I set it for just before that. I would have a snack and go back to sleep and it did help (a bit) to prevent being woken up by an overwhelming urge to vomit.
