Show your (craft)work

Incorporating hobbies, computer games, Verm's Interesting Links and anything else you can think of excluding football and other spectator sports because these belong in the Sport section, but allowing sports you play yourself with your own body as that counts as a pastime.

They all look fab! Don’t forget to find them unlike the year I left the Rubix snakes on the stairs. :lg:

Lovely stuff! I love your knitting, Beatrix, and I adoooore Shoe's rainbow colours. What crochet stitch is that, Cerise? And Wendy, your makes are so NEAT and so CUTE!

I have actually finished some stuff in lockdown 2, which is cheering. Nothing like as many projects as I need to finish, but plus ça change and all that.

It’s a corner to corner blanket pattern so just trebles but they sit perpendicular to each other. Actually very simple and very effective.

Thanks. It's a stunning pattern, I may end up copying you!

I’m not sure where I thought I was going to wear this when i bought the fabric years ago, and I certainly don’t have anywhere to wear it now!

It’s not quite finished (hemming, belt loops and belt needs pressing) but I’m done for today after a few silly mistakes lengthening the time. Matching crown as I’m going to wear it Christmas Day. :spin:

P is going to feel left out. He has a crown but it doesn’t match his outfit like me and the girls.

The shit Aldi stuff is good for sturdy things. A pot holder and a ‘basket’. I’ll probably make more of both to use it up but that’s not a cardigan. :ella:

I’ve been working on a hooded playsuit for Elvis, using a vintage 70s pattern, but fancied something quick from the pre-cut pile. One hoodie, a long-sleeved top and you’ve seen the earwarmer on the other thread (you don’t need to see the pants that match the top :)) ).

The top has a repeating pattern and I hadn’t spotted the pale circular bits are right on my boobs, so I’m not sure how much wear it will get. Not that I’m going out much.

Brilliant Wendy. Is that fabric printed with the knitted effect? I can't work it out. Its a great colour anyway

It’s a knit fabric so made that way rather than printed. I have some in petrol that I’m going to do more sweater style. It’s much quicker than knitting it myself!

I made a new lino print. Its still not as good as I'd like but it's better, so I'm going to print some properly tomorrow

Ooo, I like that.

Here’s the 70s playsuit now it’s finished. Neither of us are massively impressed with it. I’m half tempted to make something similar out of towelling fabric for post-swimming.

Wends, my mum made me something similar in orange towelling as a kid.

Those are lovely, smal.

I wondered what had happened to the sewing thread! I was afraid you had all given up. Love that yellow knit hoodie, Wends.

Smal, those lino prints are lovely. Are they Christmas cards?

Ah, yes. Perhaps the green and brown is a bit more festive than the black and white. I like both. I love the little pops of red. You're very clever.

We’re all together now OTH. :perky:

Tops and pants for the girls. Think I’ll wrap them for Christmas.

Love the touches of red in your cards, smal! Beautiful!

I have made a selection of tree decorations for a pop up sale. This is one of each.
