I just realised that you can see J reflected in the fridge
Thanks everyone, I really love it. I've wanted to do this since I bought the house 6 years ago. I think my dad would approve, he'd roll his eyes a bit at my "notions" ie 2 ovens but he'd be pleased with the builders work.

It’s so so lovely. I love that floor (that’s what I want for our own theoretical extension).

It’s lovely, and I can’t believe you moved 6 years ago.

Here's a pic from outside and also a couple from the kitchen looking out to the garden/ from the sliding doors.

Re: Extension plans
I know you are getting a sofa but are you having a table in there too?

Yes, in the empty space between the breakfast bar and the sliding doors. The chairs are being restored just now and the table is due to be done next but I'm reluctant to let it go now as I wouldn't be sure I'd get it back in time for Christmas! The chairs were sent away at the start of October and we've still had no word of getting them back.bramblerose wrote: ↑Wed Dec 09, 2020 1:30 pm I know you are getting a sofa but are you having a table in there too?

That looks so brilliant. It's looks great from the outside as well. I love all the light and space and your units are lovely (not an euphemism).

Re: Extension plans
I love it! I have questions, please : (don't answer if you can't be bothered or are fed up with our nosiness )
- How do the upper cupboards open?
- How deep are the cupboards forming the "legs" of the bar and what will you keep in them?
