Nothing about covid vaccines at school here either. Just permission requests for flu vaccinations (for the first time ever) but not covid.

I haven't heard anything about it yet - either for the chaps' school or my own.

Nope, nothing here too. We’ve had lots of communication about the upcoming flu jab and the the hpv one. But nothing about Covid.

Nothing here either. A is 12 right at the start of Nov so I’m hoping they delay it until then so she can be unblinded from her trial!

Squeak was supposed to get her jab today but I got an email to say that there’d been a sudden flurry of consent forms submitted yesterday (they only sent the consent forms on 17th Sept, so last Friday) and therefore they didn’t have enough vaccines. :ella: They’ll let us know when they can come back.

You'd have thought they would have given the consent forms a deadline..

That's annoying Pip!

My parents are being unblinded on Saturday I think.

Ah yes, J is next week. Assuming he doesn’t get Covid this week as a couple of his friends have it and the family of his best friend all have it but the best friend doesn’t and is going to school.

We got the letter today - G turns 12 on Friday so he'll be eligible.

We've had the consent forms to complete, but not a date yet. I emailed the vaccine trial team over a week ago to be unblinded so I could fill out the consents if necessary, but they've not got back to me yet.

I’m still waiting to hear when/if they’re coming back to finish Squeak’s school.

Joe has an appointment at the weekend, but we need to defer until 4 weeks after his positive test. It's great to see how this is all coming together now.

MissA had her jab about 7 weeks after having Covid, and had quite a strong set of side effects, so we were quite glad we left it a bit longer than 4 weeks! The pre-jab assessor went through all her risk factors for getting side effects and she ticked a lot of the boxes, so we weren’t particularly surprised.
