Search function on TMT

Hello, just having re-joined TMT recently, I hope it's OK for me to ask how to use search the search function- if there is one. I don't see any search box on the forum or index pages. Has this been removed, or maybe as I've recently rejoined do I not yet have the right?

Search is the little magnifying glass in the top right.

Advanced search is: https://www.themockturtle.com/Amock/search.php or the little cog next to the magnifying glass.

Hi Isam, I think there is specific post count before you can search. Not sure how many posts though.

Yes, I think you need 50 posts before you can search and also before you can view posts in Members.

Oh, I just checked the message I got from Burtle when I rejoined TMT after a lengthy absence - you need 250 posts, so you need to crack on!

All sorts of things Kenickie. Topics/keywords I'm interested in - mindfulness, Tolle for Eckhart Tolle, mascara, etc. Not just one thing. I just don't want to repeat posts or questions that were asked before, in my absence.

It's pretty quiet here nowadays and we're always happy to repeat ourselves so just start some threads!

When I reached 250 posts about ten days ago, I was locked out for a week until I contacted Lily (whose number I have in real life) who kindly sent a message to Admin. I don't have access to search or Members Only and can't send or receive private messages. Maybe the rules have changed- I can't think of anywhere else to put my request but would it would be possible to be able to send private messages or have the search function, please? If only to stop myself from repeating myself If not, no problem.

It's not automatic, Isambard. I need to change it manually and I am not around as much as I used to be. I will do it now though.
