I do the same for weekend cooking. I did a big Persiana feat the other week. Then more recently a Greek feast.

Also, proper monster burgers. I seem to be quite good at those.

Yes,Luna. I, like you, buy whole chicken and roast. Then use leftovers (we are only 2) as curry or Spanish chicken type meals.

Standard roast dinners here in Autumn and Winter are made with chicken, and then the leftovers used are used to go into something else too.

Topcat inspired me to make shakshouka, after reading this thread yesterday! I didn't put in chorizo or feta, just plain with fresh tarragon on top as I had some in the fridge.

Little my: have you tried fish tacos?

They're beyond simple, and very tasty.

I can't stand her! Luckily the recipe is really easy and adaptable so I don't watch the video.

Thanks, isam. You know we never do fish tacos at home, but all other sorts of meat, and I don't know why. We should! We will! :)) More fish on the weekly menu would be a good thing. White fish is really nice in a taco.

That reminds me, we often grill up a slab of salmon and that's a big crowd pleaser here too. Served with a side of rice (egg fried* or just steamed), and kimchi. Leftover salmon is good the next day with a sesame dressed slaw.

* Fried with a bit of coconut oil is chef's kiss!

Good grief she is annoying! I couldn't focus on the recipe with all her twirling.

We eat quite a lot of pasta dishes with a firm favourite in this family being my creamy mushroom chicken pasta. For busy days my go to meal is doner kebab/chicken gyros in a tortilla wrap with tomato and lettuce.

I'm probably just fancying this right now, but my answer is sausages with garlicky mash, red onion gravy and peas. Now I want that.

Yesterday was burgers, tomorrow is chicken pie, mash, gravy, and Monday is pizza.

Tonight is supposed to be a takeaway, but I had BBQ later and I'm still quite stuffed so I'm not sure what I fancy. :puzz:
