Liv isn’t teenage yet but is definitely a tween and has had the same thing with her BFF ditching her. It’s really hard.

I'm sorry for teenage/pre teenage friend issues, kids can be cruel.

Pretend you are setting a new fashion Emma ! About 18 years ago I used to regularly go to the Nordics with work, on one trip home from either Norway or Denmark in the summer, I had changed from my work clothes to a dress and flip flops because it was really warm. I'd then checked my case in . The toe post on one of my flip flops broke as I was wandering round the airport! I looked in the various shops and the flip flops/summer sandals were really expensive and I didn't actually like any of them. I ended up going into a WH Smith type shop there and asking the assistant if I could have a couple of elastic bands to secure my flip flop to my foot ! It worked and saved me spending £40 or more on a pair of flip flops I wouldn't wear again .

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better, Luna. I have perked up immensely for finishing work yesterday for a whole week. We're off to (actually, possibly, really) sunny Wales tomorrow, to look at puffins and continue our adventures in kayaking. And I'm currently outside the hairdressers, being miles early because I've enormously over estimated the impact of school run.

Afternoon all,

I am back in the US and have been awake half the night (I did crash out earlier on yesterday). I will no doubt feel the effects this afternoon but I am going for a morning walk for coffee along the waterfront/piers before coming back to get ready for the office. I suspect it’ll be quiet as it’s Friday but I have one meeting and loads of work to do for next week before it gets crazily busy, so may as well.

Afternoon. We've come into town for cheese and sangria.

We were going to go to another bar but are on our third jug of sangria sat in the sun listening to Ibiza tunes and chilling wishing we were on holiday.

I was wishing I had a van like Norman this morning. He looks great.

I did climb the ladder & clear out as much of the guttering as I could this afternoon. C called and said well done. He’s been really unwell & missed today’s meetings.

Ah, all the Norman love 🥹

A has done an amazing job on him, he was hand painted a dirty poo brown when we got him, and internally was red swirly old pub carpet and yellow curtains. I’ll take a picture tomorrow of the inside now.

We bought him nearly ten years ago as a project and it’s lovely that we now have some little chaps and can now have adventures and make lots of memories

This is inside, the back seats flatten down to be a double bed, it’s a pop top so we can put that up, and we also have hammocks for the chaps. They are getting powder coated at the moment so they’ve got a camp-bed inside the awning for now.

The extra stool has storage in, and there’s loads of little cupboards, a fridge and a hob.
