Re: May Exercise
It didn’t which is good, but I got a few running gifts (new Goodr sunnies and a running vest) and I haven’t felt well enough to try them out

Hopefully it’ll be delayed gratification/spinning out the birthday princess time (I only took my cards down tonight).

Re: May Exercise
I tried some really, really light hill work tonight but I could feel my knee going, still. So more rest lies ahead of me. It is getting better (and I am starting to get that feeling that I really want to get out there again), so I am hoping I can try a short run later in the week to see how it is.
I am so far behind on my training it is unreal.

Re: May Exercise
It's good there is some improvement. Hopefully you can get a good run in next time.
No run today but I walked 4 miles to collect my friend's car. Then I remembered to turn my fitbit off from recording my walk so my journey back wasn't recorded at record speed.

Re: May Exercise
I’m glad things are getting better, Twatter.
I forgot to stop my Garmin walk when I got in the train the other day. My pace went crazy!
I’m not feeling up to running (my chest is tight) but I did some weights this morning - shoulders and biceps. So that’s something.

Glad you’re feeling better Est.
I’ve been to Dance Step in my shorts. It was fast again! We talked about how hot it’s going to get in the studio this summer and I’m working up to being brave enough to wear a crop top and let my midriff out.

Re: May Exercise
I did a run.
Four and a half slow, hilly miles and at some points I felt pain but I don't know if that was in my head. I think that it was.
We'll see tomorrow but its good news, I think. Only eleven days until I'm due to do 16 miles on the Mendips.

Re: May Exercise
Yay, Twat! How have you pulled up now?
I am properly, fully in love with running again. Today was a 50 min progression run (8.27km). I have my first running event since 2021 a week today too
