Well done Alan!
I nearly fell over my step and went crashing into two other people in Dance Step last night.

Re: May Exercise
Careful, Pip! Slipping on my step in Body Step was what caused my broken in three places big toe.

Ten Pip Bowling.
3.20 mile run today. My fastest again. I should just stop reporting that as I think I will continue to get faster for the next couple of weeks as I'm early in my running season and I'm not up to my usual speed and duration.

Fucks sake!
Its still there. Its really faint but two days after my run I can still feel it so I am resting again until Monday. It is 100% on the mend (initially I was walking up and down stairs as though I had shat myself), so I can't be far off.

Re: May Exercise
It was true, and somewhat embarrassing.
Cheers. I have a week to get to sixteen miles which isn't going to happen, but four months to get up to the 50k for raceday. I am miles behind but I should be good enough to complete the course as long as I don't hurt myself again.

And why the hell not after all that exercise Pip!
Resting today as I've cricked my neck. I did walk 5 miles though.

That’s a full on Friday, Pip.
Today was a run rest day. I did shoulders, biceps and abs.

Re: May Exercise
Parkrun yay! I am still coughing and slightly breathless but so fed up with not doing anything. I made a conscious decision I was going to take it easy and walk up the hills and at least I finished even if it was slow.

Re: May Exercise
Excellent work Tex!
I am back from class and it was a tough but doable session, definitely more of a mental battle than anything else.
1 mile run (I swapped this for 1600m row)
30 box jumps (I went with a lower height and just stepped up)
5 burpee pull ups (just 5 burpees for me)
20 wall balls (went for a lighter ball to make sure I got the depth)
23 cal Ski erg
I managed 2 full rounds and got half way through the step up before the time cap of 45mins.

Dance Step today and I remained upright and on my side of the studio throughout, so that’s a win.

Re: May Exercise
Short run Wed then saved myself for yesterday’s 10k.
New strength coach = new programme. Started with lower body today as programmed as legs aren’t feeling the race (yet?).
The gym only opened at 8am due to the BH so it was busy but also unfamiliar faces. Once again I resisted the temptation to ask some why they get a mat out to stand on.

Re: May Exercise
My neck is still buggered so I've only been walking but I ran this morning 3.25 miles and it seems no worse so back to running it is.

Re: May Exercise
Oh no, what happened to your neck? Do you know when you cricked it?
Something hasn't been right in my neck/shoulder area since I went to Liverpool. I vaguely remember a pain the next morning, which I put down to maybe sleeping funny but it was bothering me when doing incline dumbbell presses today and I was feeling it more over my clavicle. I need to try and work out what is.
Upper body this AM.

Yours sounds sore and weird!
I slept funny on a new pillow - well it's my old preferred pillow I got out again as I don't like my new pillows - on Thursday night. It's getting better now but was really bad on Saturday I couldn't turn my head to the right at all.

Re: May Exercise
Your poor neck!
I ran a 10km all time PB yesterday. By accident on a training run. I had goal pace repeats on the plan with 15 min warm up/cool down either side - total 62 min workout. I ran 10km in 58:43 (previous best 60:08) and did a total of 10.6km. It was my last run before my charity 10km tomorrow morning.

Well done Est!
I wanted to flop on the sofa tonight but C has a 24hr blood pressure monitor so he can’t drive or go to the gym, and Squeak has her PT session so I’ve done 40 minutes walking on the treadmill.
