I think it's a traditional Italian dish. I've been doing it for years. You cook finely sliced rounds of new potatoes in with the pasta, then mix with cooked green beans and pesto and the extra starchy pasta water.

It#s a one pot dish really as the green beans might as well go in the pasta water too.

I thought it was called pasta Genovese. Whatever it's called I really love it and haven't made it for ages. Will do soon though!

So glad you liked it Dics! I was so close to making the prosciutto wrapped salmon with lentils (vintage Jamie  ) but had 2 bags of organic new potatoes I'd bought on a yellow sticker so had to use them :))

W: Takeout to celebrate the election plus all the red wine
T: Carbonara (with frozen peas for health) with rocket salad.
F: Tapas - all the salty snacks (giant corn, habas fritas, smoked almonds, breadsticks, serrano ham) padron peppers, manchego, membrillo, chorizo in sherry, olives, salad.

S: Greekish feast tbc but definitely involving halloumi as I went to the Greek store in Bayswater this afternoon to stock up on the real deal.

Roast dinner with veg pie (it feels like it is back to roast dinner weather here  )
Tofu ramen
Salmon with rice and watercress pesto
Beetroot fritters, veg ratatouille

The veg box is a bit thin at the moment so I'm supplementing a lot with supermarket veg.

I don't think there's a single new recipe in next week's plan! We're camping first and then there's a few bits that need using up, so Iv'e gone for T&T.

Peanut butter quorn fried rice
Gochjuang schnitzel and kimchi rice
Channa masala
JPs and taco beans/mixed beans in tomato sauce
