FAO owners of window vacs - they are really good for cleaning high gloss kitchens.

We are in the Lakes, and I brought the vac over to clean the windows, and it occurred to me that it might be good for the cream glossy doors in the kitchen, and it was brilliant.

that is all :))

This is relevant to my interests. What did you use to clean the doors with?

I just used what was left from doing the windows - Mr Muscle Glass cleaner, diluted about 10 to 1. I put it in the trigger bottle, squirted it and wiped with the sponge then squeegied it. The fingerprints vanished and the doors look great. There are windows all round, so streaks and marks really show up, and it was getting on my nerves.

After the Roka bag, I've now joinded the TMT Window Vac team :))
It's brilliant, I don't know how I managed without it!

I need to clean the outside windows regularly because the rain is often dirty (Sahara sand and earth dirt) and leaves the windows covered in dirty splashes.

I've got the Karcher WV6. It came with the squoosher bottle with the microfibre sponge and some cleaning concentrate.
I've used up the concentrate and need to refill the squoosher.

I've read here that some of you use washing up liquid and others are using window cleaner stuff (the blue / green liquid ??).
If you use the window cleaner liquid do you dilute it ? If so, how dilute do you go?
I you use WUL do you add vinegar ? What proportion of WUL to water do you use ?

After reading up a bit on using the vac I've realised that for my first attempts I wasn't getting the windows wet enough and the squeedgie left some streaks, but now I make sure the windows are properly wet and I hardly have to wipe anything up with a microfibre cloth.
Any other top tips ?

I've already used the doing the on-the-side parts first tip :)

I just do a small squirt of washing up liquid in mine. Not much, then mostly water. Probably the same proportions as when you wash up dishes.
