I've been out aal day and missed everything except I caught the men's hockey before I went out. I'm watching now though.

I have been ill all day and watched nothing. I did see a photo of Andy watching the gymnastics though while scoffing a chocolate doughnut. And so he should.

I had to leave home this morning before the 100m men’s final but it was on the big screen as I walked across King George Sq in the city so I stopped to watch. What a finish!

The women’s road cycle was a great finish too.

They said it was obvious on the photo finish so fair enough. They took it very gracefully.

What a shame about Molly Caudery in the pole vault. I do wish they’d stop interviewing athletes right after their events if it hasn’t gone well. I feel so sorry for them.
