That’s a lovely play suit Est, and we’ve always said the rule is that if a man really hates your outfit then you are on the right track.

I keep looking at the picture and struggling to understand what's not to like about it! It looks great and very classic.

I also don’t get why you wouldn’t like it. It looks lovely!

Thanks guys. He has a weird thing against maxi length on me as I’m a shorty. He’s wrong.

I love it and wish I could get away with wearing similar. For solidarity of stupid husband comments I bought a teal fur coat and asked him what he thought. He said ‘if you like it that’s what counts’ :lg: not a resounding endorsement.

I never ask J for his opinion on my clothes :)) His taste is stuck in the 90s, plus (by his own admission) he knows nothing about fashion!

I really like that and agree with the tan belt idea.

That would make sense if you were as wide as you are short, but you’re very much not  It’s lovely!

Even if someone is as wide as they are short, they can still wear maxi dresses :ballet:

Another one here who thinks Mr Est is wrong - I love the playsuit! Is it patterned at the bottom or did the dressing room just have a dirty mirror? You can easily dress it up or down. Also, when the weather cools down, you could wear it with a jacket or cardi.

I went shopping with my mum this week and I'm very glad I did as we are now in full lockdown and all non-essential shops are closed. I really wanted a coloured cardigan to brighten up the many black/charcoal outfits I have. I found one in the end that is part cashmere and it was so comfy I just didn't want to take it off! There is only one problem - it sheds like mad! I've had it in the freezer for 48 hours but it still sheds, so I think I am going to give it a (gentle) wash.

Just a dirty mirror, Dutchie. I’m a fan of a long cardigan. That’s nice but frustrating about the shedding.

I posted a dress in this fabric on the “items I’m allured to” thread but never bought it. Then I spotted this play suit on eBay and it’s mine now.

Such a pretty pattern, Est. Me + Em has a lovely top that was similar, when I popped into their shop earlier.

I had a very productive 90 min personal shopping session today and got these (the brief was office friendly trousers & tops).

Plus another pair of wide leg trousers - navy & cropped this time. And these tops.
