The Shardlake books got me through a sizeable chunk of pandemic. And whenever you read anything about CJS, he came across as one of those genuinely lovely people. Didn't he single handedly save the Mary Rose?

On Disney+ from tomorrow with Arthur Hughes (from The Archers!) as Shardlake. It looks so good.
