I've never read the Shardlake books but I loved Winter in Madrid which he wrote.

I thought of you when I saw the news. I’m sad too.

My dad was a massive fan of his. It seems
Particularly with the Shardlake tv show airing for the first time later in the week.

Oh no! I loved the Shardlake series as well, Flora. Might need to re-read now

The Shardlake books got me through a sizeable chunk of pandemic. :love2: And whenever you read anything about CJS, he came across as one of those genuinely lovely people. Didn't he single handedly save the Mary Rose? :))

Oh no! I was wondering how he was getting on just the other day. The Shardlake series is fabulous. :(

On Disney+ from tomorrow with Arthur Hughes (from The Archers!) as Shardlake. It looks so good.

I’ve got a few days to myself and was going to watch it, but it’s not showing yet. Does anyone know what time Disney drops new series, please?

How odd. This is what I am seeing when I search for it.

It's not under 'New to Disney' either.

Hang on, Sean Bean as Cromwell? :mog:

He's come a long way from "Ey up, Achilles."

Hmm very strange, perhaps try the good old log out/in, switch off/on trick?

Yeah not too sure about Sean Bean as Cromwell

Mystery solved. It's there on S's profile. She must have set me up with a child account and it's a 16+ certificate.

I've messaged her to upgrade me as it's her account and I am F&F on it.
