West Midlands is very close and apparently it’s the Tories asking for a ballot check rather than Labour…

Watching for the West Midlands now. I allowed myself to get swept up in Sadiq hysteria last night so I am trying to remain calm.

I am glued to West Midlands. Glued. It would be the icing on the weekend, really.

I'm really pleased for Sadiq, I've always liked him anyway but I listened to him being interviewed on TRIP a few weeks ago and the racism he's had to deal with is just horrific.
Christ on a bendy bus son, don't be such a fucking faff arse

Yes. All the security he has to have etc. Him thanking his daughters and wife in his speech made me quite worried for them all.
What's your latest reckon? There isn't a uniform swing so far. Labour are going to be very close but might be fucked by various Galloway shills.Bat Macdui wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 6:04 pm I am glued to West Midlands. Glued. It would be the icing on the weekend, really.

I don't know. My internal pessimism says Street just takes it. But I'm broken by 14 years of misplaced hope.

About 20 minutes ago, I was convinced Labour would edge it, but now I think they're going to lose by not many.
