Back at it Tuesday

Post by bramblerose »

Morning!

It is yet another rain free day and I've been for my walk which was glorious!
IMG_20240507_071526.jpg
Just sat in the garden having a coffee listening to the birds and repeating the mantra of "this is why we bought the house"

It's just a year ago that we got the keys and discovered what a shit tip it actually was/still is in places.

ANYWAY... We have work then we are volunteering at a local cycle event.

Have a great Tuesday.

Happy house-versary!

I am indeed back at it after 4 days off. At least it's a short week.

A man is coming to do our patio. The previous man did such an awful job that we barely used our back garden last year (the one time we did have a barbecue, I tripped on a loose flagstone and cut my toe :ella: ). I've been following this new one on FB for a while and he's doing it completely differently (and was scathing of the previous man's work!) plus it turns out he's a friend of Sproglette's stepdad so :fc:

Good morning.

Your canal walk looks nice, bramble! Fingers crossed for the patio, wendy, sounds like it's off to a good start.

I'm working today, then Pilates later. I also need to do the exercises the psychotherapist gave me for my psoas. Weather is nice outside, I've already been out to buy cherries. :)

I had to read this several times to understand!

I have some life sapping tasks to do this morning. I don’t want to but I’ll feel better when they’re done.

Sunshine though!

I thought Wendy had some news for us

I hope it goes well with the garden Wendy, the new guy sounds good.

I'm in work, and have a couple of meetings. J is off to London for work so my mum is taking me out for dinner.

Not much sunshine here but at least there's no rain.

Morning. Working from the back room overlooking the garden. Finally I can pop a wash on and pop it out to dry!

I'm not feeling the work thing. I might claim my expenses instead

 Good luck with your patio Wendy. And sorting out your relationships.

Morning flowers (yes, I've been looking at MetGala dresses). Last night I dreamt I could hardly walk so I think that's a sign I need to get back exercising after being slack recently, especially after being so ill last week. Luckily its sunshine and blue skies here so I will head out for a little walk today. I feel quite inspired by your canal pic, Bramble.

Happy Birthday Epp!

Happy birthday Epp!

It's cool and grey here and I'm going to get my French homework done and then cut some fabric out for a pair of pyjamas.

Happy house-versary, Bramble.

Happy Birthday Epp!

Good morning turtledom, it is overcast here, but with hints of the sun trying to appear, I’ll hang washing out soon.

Happy versearys and birthdays to those celebrating

I'm currently at my mum's before I go into town centre for my first in face hospital appointment at the IBD clinic since pre COVID as the last 4 appointments have been telephone consults

I'm also contemplating going back to studying

Happy Birthday Epp!

I was also confused by Wendy's post :)

Lovely and sunny here, I had latte and almond croissant in the garden, then sorted laundry out and put more on the line. It is supposed to be overcast this afternoon but as long as the rain stays away I'm happy.
