I think (didn't someone say earlier) that that is just what happened, not a sign of impending doom?

Yes, its normal that the outgoing president's stuff is removed. The issues he has put up are a bit grim though.

I just drove along the motorway past Scunthorpe and someone has hung a banner saying 'Bridges Not Walls'
I'm trying not to engage with the rest of it for fear of tipping over the edge.

Mr J with my sign last night. S did the earth on the back for me (this was take 2 as he wouldn't let me use the first one he did).
Half-ten?! Half-ten?! I've never been up at half-ten! What happens?

What do your friends and Mr J's family think about all this, Jet?

Re: Anger, bile, tears and tea
My friends are majority very liberal so they are as horrified as me. Mr J's family are the same, though my mil and sil are a bit anti abortion, fil is very vocally pro choice. His extended family are majority small town people and the polar opposite, crazy Obama hating republicans.
Work is a different matter. I have no idea really as it isn't discussed. Peolple are derogatory about trump openly but it's still hard to know how seriously a lot of people (particularly men) take the bad shit. I have several work friends who share my views but I talk with them because I know that's the case.

Great posters Marth and Jet. Here's me marching in Frankfurt with mine. We had a good turn out - over 2000 people, with some great signs and lots of pink pussy hats.

Lots of pussy hats here too. We're early but already tons of people and buses are arriving. I was going to post a photo but reception is sketchy.

Amazing! Seeing all the marches taking place is so inspiring and uplifting.
