This person has helpfully pulled together all the stuff on the Perugia trip.

I don't know who this person is, but trusting that they are telling the truth, this has shocked me.
13/ In Fact, in spring 2019, MI6 and special branch had Evgeny Lebedev down as a "potential security risk".
But by June 2019 this was down-graded by order of the Cabinet Office and Lebedev was then given an honours in the Queens new years honours list.

I don't know how he is either, for the record, but he's been retweeted by Alex Andreou who is pretty trustworthy.

That’s absolutely fascinating (/horrifying /not surprising), thank you.

This government has absolutely no respect for any of us, has it?

I was going to say Thomas Hardy wrote the most tedious books to read, but then I remembered Death in Venice. :ruby:

Can you be baptised if your parents aren't married? I would have thought that born out of wedlock was a one way street to hell :notacatholic:

I should think if you have money or connections you probably can, even if some churches/priests might say no, but that might be me being cynical.

They just couldn't get married, because he's still married to his first wife (in the eyes of the church)

Yes, its not at all unusual although it's at the discretion of individual priests. Pope Francis baptised the child of a couple whose parish priest refused to do it.

I'm surprised. But maybe the catholics have modernised. Ish.

I think that with dwindling numbers globally the theory these days is get as many as you can whilst they're still young. :))

Well. Cummings to leave by Christmas. I don't really understand what's gone on here with these resignations. Feels like rats off a sinking ship. Cheers pals, no thats fine we'll clear up the mess no worries.

Aye, I'd rather Cummings had never been near government, but we'll have to take what we can get, I suppose.

I've been waiting a long time for Tory backstabbing, I'm ready for this. I'm still confused as to how Gove has been let back in to the inner circle, given how publicly he shat all over Johnson. Funny old world.

I read something earlier that said Boris wants them gone because he’s realised they are ‘just in it for themselves’

And there is a lot of talk about how Cummings orchestrated the Brexit campaigns, which smacks very much of Johnson trying to distance himself from it all.

:)) Unlike Boris, the great humanitarian. It's good to see they can still make us laugh.

Do you think it's coincidental that this is happening less than a week after Biden winning the election? I'm assuming not...

Absolutely not, p_d; they are so transparent. It disgusts me.
