Oh my. That wedding dress could go in my secret stash of terrible wedding dresses folder.

She does always look very uncomfortable. I don't supposed she signed up for any of this First Lady business, she must know shes got impossible shoes to fill, after Michelle Obama did it with such intelligence and class.

And one of the first things I've spotted was a man in the crowd with an NRA baseball cap.

It'll be exactly that kind of supporter who will assassinate him when they realise he isn't building a wall or taking it back to 1952.

One of my favourite DC instagrammers has posted this! Can't wait to see her photos.

Trump's tie is way too long, it's just flapping around.

In fairness, he's probably just nervous, but he looks like he's attending his own execution.

I just watched a bit and it's made me cry. HOW did this* happen?

* Not me crying; I've done that bit before.

I haven't watched any of it but there is much hilarity here at work about how he looks and how Obama is practically skipping.
Half-ten?! Half-ten?! I've never been up at half-ten! What happens?

We've had this conversation before, but I absolutely believe he does not, and did never, really want this. He just wanted to win. Not become President.

I keep randomly bursting into tears, Digs.

I kept hoping that something that would happen to prevent the orange shitgibbon becoming president. I don't mean assassination as that would mean Pence. I can't watch the inauguration stuff, it's just too depressing. We just have to hope that voters come to their senses in 2020.

I've had nightmares every night this week so far and I think it's the anxiety at what a shitgibbon presidency could do to the world.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Presumably some democratic mid-term wins would help in the interim? Those must be 2018?

There was quite a good Guardian article about how this is basically the beginning of the end for Trump. He was a joke before, now he's just a mere slip-up away from impeachment.

At the height of his popularity, Donald Trump is polling as badly as George W Bush at the end of his doomed presidency, after the catastrophic collapse of the economy and the bloody disaster of the Iraq war.
