Anger, bile, tears and tea

For those of us who might catch a look at the inauguration and want to comment. :)) Because tea cures everything.

Actually, I'm mostly rancid with rage over Julian Assange now and his blatant lies about extradition, but hey, I can probably muster up a bit of hate for Trump, too.

I am also muchly liking the people who are putting Bridges Not Walls banners out today. :love2:

Comfort-inducing biscuit, anyone? Courgette?

I have half a courgette for the highest bidder. Also, I'm hanging onto a quarter of a cucumber in case they sky rocket in value too.

I panic bought courgettes yesterday after reading about the shortage. I'm so suggestible.

Anyway I have tea, and tears of impotent rage.

I'm also on a new blackout today and only caught that offensive orange cunt's face accidentally when I passed through the canteen this morning and the telly was on. Hopefully I can vent and rage at the rally tomorrow.

I ate my courgettes last night, like an oligarch.

Protesters chanting “no Tump, no KKK, no racists, fascists, go away” have disrupted preparations for the inauguration.
I like this.

As a woman of the people, I am still doggedly working my way through my swede. Fuck your bourgeois courgettes (not a suggestion).

I can't engage for now. It was quite enough to see him claiming his inauguration party was the greatest or whatever when three people turned up and one of them was just walking the dog. The other two were probably trying to get a photo for C on the 365 day photo challenge.

I won't be watching as it'll make me too angry/despairing.

How has the Russian hands in the election thing just gone away? Why has everyone just accepted it?

Goat! :mog:

I can't watch and I won't watch. I've gone all floppy and apathetic, I'm afraid, which is probably a kind of shock reaction given that no-one's popped up and told us this is all a joke yet.

Somebody must be planning to shoot him, surely?

I've lost the will to engage too, but I hope you can comfort each other.

I did like Trump's claim that he was the first person to think of an inauguration concert at the Lincoln Memorial when they pretty much always have that, don't they? He is so thick.

He's reminding me of the propaganda messages which were being broadcast claiming Iraq was winning the war and there were no westerners within hundreds of miles as Baghdad was encircled. I can't work out whether he genuinely believes what he's saying or whether he just thinks he's fooling everyone else.

I think he believes it. He's so far removed from reality and (probably) surrounded by people who constantly tell him how amazing and brilliant he is; why would he doubt anything he believes? All he does is rant how stuff he doesn't want to engage with is 'fake'. Fucking ridiculous, stupid, dangerous madman.

I think its probably a mixture of the two. Who's ever told him he's wrong, in his life? And bare faced lying has managed to get him to Inauguration Day.

I don't think Trump can be viewed to be existing within any sort of normal behaviour parameters.
