It’s all so heartening, like a little patch of hope in such a bleak time.

The flags waving in the wind is going to be such a powerful picture in the future.

Also, now some idiot on another board will owe $100 to charity as he was telling us that Biden wouldn’t be sworn in so he accepted a bet. Hah! Pay up, fool.

There's so much LOVE around these people. There was a sweet moment a while back where one of the kids(?) reached over and squeezed Jill Biden's hand.

I love the fact Kamala's husband kissed him. And the sun has come out.

Yes, I'm sure he'll honour that. :look:

Are the Obamas there? (Yes - just saw them. I presume no Trump though?)

Need you ask, Lily?

George W Bush and Bill Clinton are there too.

Barack is there but I’m not sure if Michelle or Hillary are there.

It's so weird watching someone talk like an actual president, isn't it? And they're wiping down the stand in between each speaker, like sensible adults. It doesn't quite feel real.

I saw Michelle in the crowd earlier I’m sure they are. Oh, yes the TV just showed Barack.

Lazz, I’m sure he won’t but he’ll still have people pointing and laughing at his ridiculousness. Which is really what social media is all about :))

I love this. I'm in pieces for many reasons but a lot because I wish RBG was seeing this.

Did I just see Dr Jill in bare legs? She must be freezing.

This speech is hitting the right tone. So sensible.
