That looks exactly like something a less able student would dream up for a PR project, but would (should) get the WTF treatment at the proposal stage.

Ugh, ugh, ugh. And yes, their clothes are sub-Millen and far too expensive.

I’m starting to think it’s every man now.

It's not though. Some never did and some never knew they shouldn't but most of the latter are getting the message, I think/hope.

I'm most wary of the ones who don't do it any more because they 'aren't allowed any more'.

He's paying up on the civil law suits. Something tells me that he is going to get away with this.

On a similar note, that scrote Paddy Jackson has been signed by London Irish who actually had the brass neck to tweet about "welcoming him to the club" :ella:

I could not believe that - and yet, following Chedwyn Evans, I could. The responses to the tweet were heartening, but the fact they have signed him - words fail me. At least the little shit had to have his Twitter feed made private as he obviously got a tonne of abuse. There was a petition against it, I signed it, but there were only a few signatures on it.

I'm watching the Sex On Trial series on Channel 4 and it is soul-destroying to see how this happens over, and over, and over and over and over and over again. I hated the fact that I felt relief when the university found five (count'em!) men guilty of assault after they had been cleared by the police, and expelled them.

Yeah, it's so horribly depressing.

I'm really sorry.

Well, at least his career's over and his wife left him. Unlike Jackson, whose girlfriend went back to him. Even if you didn't believe he was a rapist, why the hell would you want to go anywhere near a man who behaved like that towards women?

At least Weinstein can't hurt anyone else. It's a victory of sorts I suppose, but not a quarter of what it should be. It is the smallest of steps, but it's a step. I don't know whether to sink into despair again or try to look for the chinks of light in the dark.

Is it a victory? Of any sort? I don't think so. Isn't it the same as Jordy Chandler and Michael Jackson? What difference did that make to MJ's behaviour?

Indeed! I can’t see that his throwing money at people in order to avoid being found guilty in court is a victory for anything other than the power of being rich.

I think a culture of ignoring complaints and then paying them off for their silence is very very much part of the problem. I don't blame victims for taking the money in case that's not clear, I would too if that was the only justice I was likely to see, but I cant celebrate perpetuating that situation.
