The article I read says he will update him on the progress of cross party Brexit talks. That shouldn’t take long.

Wait! now reporting that he's changed his mind.
I can'd do this, I'm going to immerse myself in work.

He’s not going to actually ‘do’ anything then. Just ‘busy work’.

Can you imagine it? 'Mr Barnier, Jeremy is on the phone, says he wants to come over for a chat... he's offering to bring some jam'.

I should imagine Barnier has loads of time to sit around with utterly irrelevant people who have literally nothing of value to add to the process. I bet his diary is pretty much empty at the moment.

He’s probably thumb twiddling while he waits for May’s letter to arrive. Hope Grayling wasn’t in charge of sending it.

McDonnell now saying Labour supporting 3 month delay BUT to negotiate a new deal (so have they dropped the ref 2 plan?!).
So presumably Corbyn's meeting with Barnier is to see what traction their shitty deal might get compared to May's shitty deal.

I am not convinced Corbyn will even mention Brexit. He’ll probably want to chat about arts funding or renationalising the railways

Those bus timetables in Derbyshire won't sort themselves out.
Conflicting reports about Labour's position all over the place, I've given up for an hour or so while they settle themselves.

I feel like we're frighteningly close to no deal now, and am doing a basket dance with cat food, which is stupid because there's no downside to buying more, it just feels like I've given in if I do somehow. WHICH IS STUPID.

Antonello Guerrera on twitter:
At the same time that May is saying she won't ask to extend beyond June and will not consider taking part in elections.Booooom!
BREXIT:EU COMMISSION DOCUMENT SAYS EXTENSION TO JUNE 30 WOULD BE LEGALLY AND POLITICALLY DIFFICULT, MAIN OPTIONS FOR EU LEADERS ARE TO DELAY BREXIT UNTIL BEFORE MAY 23 OR AT LEAST TO THE END OF 2019 (reuters)

Where has May 23 come from? Is that related to EU elections?

Yes. Latest date they currently say that we can leave without taking part.
Twitter people that know what they're talking about seem to have entered sheer panic/disgust now.

So the one thing she has deigned to ask for has been ruled out. Well that’s just great. Having said that, has she managed to actually ask yet?
