Apparently 10 of the Rebels have just had the whip restored, including Clarke and aforementioned Stephen Hammond.

Caroline Lucas got labelled a TERF, that's good enough for me.
Oh, really? Me too, then. (Jesus.)

I’ve just checked as I thought I could no longer vote as I’ve been out of the UK for more than 10 years, but it turns out I’ve got another 5 years so I’ll have to sort out my mum as my proxy. I’ll be voting SNP as I always do. I have no idea what I’d do if I didn’t have that option.

Also sorry, but I feel the same.
Same. I'm going to be filmed for their pro-indyref2 party political broadcast in a couple of weeks.

This whole thing is a fucking shambles really.

It's a two-horse race here between Labour and Tory; it was safe Labour since time immemorial but the majority was getting smaller and smaller every year, and it went Tory in 2017 after the Labour MP came out in support of fracking (which round here is like supporting genocide). Since then it's got more and more Tory with Labour being wiped out at local, town and even parish council level. I will probably vote LibDem but it will depend on who stands for Labour - if they have more than a tiny chance I'll vote tactically.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Of course it does.
I was going to say this but got distracted. Your vote isn't discounted just because you might use it in a different way if you lived somewhere else.

Another who is a supporter of Indyref2. Though I believe that’s one I’m not allowed to vote overseas in.

Like Rebs, I’ll be voting Lib Dem. Not really because I want to but it’s my only chance to bump our cockwomble of an MP from his seat. Hopefully the rest of the Remainers who haven’t felt represented will follow.

I wish my vote had a hope in hell of making a difference, but it’s True Blue here. I’ll still vote Lib Dem :)

I really don't know what to do.

Our labour MP is lovely, she has done a lot of good to this area but she's a Remainer (and against Corbyn). I like the way she votes and I think given the opportunity, she'd continue to do a lot of good things.

However, this area, although a very strong labour seat, is overwhelmingly Leave.

There are a lot of vocal opponents to her and during the last local elections Labour was ousted from the council in favour of Independents.

Last time I voted for Lib Dem we ended up with the coalition but I'm worried the Brexit Party will win here.

Same, except I think I have to vote Labour. My (brilliant) MP won by a landslide in 2017 but the Tories were close in 2015 and, weirdly, Labour seem to have won the extra votes from BNP and UKIP so those people would be more likely to vote Tory now. Lib Dems have never had a look in.

Thangham is great. I campaigned for her in 2015 and have had some good Twitter conversations with her. (She's not my MP either but replied to a couple of my tweets about my feelings of political homelessness :emme: )

I am still outraged that the fact the referendum was shown to be won fraudulently has barely been discussed by any parties.
Word for word.
Exactly this. And he's been really good with local causes here, too. But I absolutely cannot bring myself to vote for Labour, not in good conscience. The time when it has mattered the most for a proper opposition and they have fucked it at every opportunity. So until they can sort their leadership out then I can't give them my vote.

So that leaves me stumped.

Jess Phillips is doing a pretty good job of speaking about it now (well, 10 minutes ago).

I have felt disenfranchised for ages. Labour will win here, which is how I will probably vote, but the MP is bloody Lavery, and has been for years.

I vowed years ago never to vote Lib Dem, and they have done absolutely nothing to persuade me to change my mind, but I did vote for them in the last European Election as Labour seemed to be backing Brexit.

The Tories run everything in my town - Local and County councils, the Chamber of Trade, and even the poxy local FB page, which is a combination of a Conservative party Political Broadcast, and a Johnson fan club.

It's desperate.
