I'm the green vote up there, as I'm in the only constituency it makes sense. Thank fuck for that, I'd be utterly conflicted otherwise.

Jess Phillips is doing a pretty good job of speaking about it now (well, 10 minutes ago).

Lib Dem here, as it is a two horse race at all times (Lib Dem/Tory), but also our local Lib Dem guy is fairly decent whatever the main party policies.

Ruby wrote: Tue Oct 29, 2019 6:11 pm I'm probably voting Labour. My Labour MP is a decent bloke and Remain, even though the constituency is quite Brexity. The Tories aren't really a threat here unless something horrific happens. Having said all of this, I can think of a million reasons NOT to vote Labour - mostly related to anti-Semitism. I can't blame people for voting Lib Dem; I think there is a danger you could end up in another Nick Clegg situation, as I dislike Jo Swindon, so that is why I wouldn't vote for them
I was hoping you'd post your thoughts Ruby! Same here I'm happy to vote for our current chap again as he's decent.

Yes, he's a nice bloke. I agree with him on most things. I am going to a public meeting about parking disagreements tonight, because that is my life now. :ruby:

I’m a bit off the Greens at the mo because of the whole TRA thing, but honestly I can’t keep up with who is fucking with whom the worst these days.

My parents' constituency (Wimbledon) is an interesting one. Solidly Remain, current MP is one of the Tory rebels Stephen Hammond. But he then voted FOR the shitty Programme motion and for the second reading so has lost most of his kudos with me.

It did actually go Labour for a couple of terms under Blair but does that translate into a chance under Corbyn? Hmmph.

The hideous Hoey's replacement in Vauxhall is a Remainer at least, I think.

I’ve no idea who to vote for! :)

My MP is the Father of the House, and so has previously been a seriously safe Conservative seat. I have no clue what to do now.

I'll vote Lib Dem which is what I normally do... won't do much in a strong Labour seat. The populus round here voted to leave (64%) but we have a remainer MP

Mountain Goat wrote: Tue Oct 29, 2019 5:42 pm I'm also in a very safe Labour seat, and my MP hasn't put a foot wrong in my eyes. The distant second party is the Tories, with Lib Dems well behind them, so I'd be afraid that a not-Labour vote would play to the Tory advantage (although really they have no chance). So I'll be voting Labour with a heavy heart and disappointed stare at Corbyn.
I'll be doing to same as Goat. (Same constituency.)

Ken Clarke? Do we think he’s ok now? I think we might, but also I am quite confused.

Yup, the very same. I am conflicted and need someone to tell me what to do. :)

Con 30,307 47.5 % 0.2%
Lab 28,392 44.5 % 14.1%
LD 2,499 3.9 % -2.3%

These are 2017 general election results for my area. I'm guessing I should vote Labour (again)?

God, I wish this shit storm had never started.

Of course it does.

I live in a Tory seat which could be won by the Lib Dems, so I'll be voting for them as well as helping out (leafleting etc) as per usual.

Caroline Lucas got labelled a TERF, that's good enough for me.
