Boris and his government will just blame a Brexit fiasco on the economy on Corona now and I fear that they’ll get away with it...

I would like to register how much I am enjoying Keir's total having at of Johnson for lying at PMQs this afternoon. :)) I would like to think Johnson is sitting browbeaten in Downing Street with Cummings swearing at him right now.

In the grand scheme of things it's like, crumbs, but it is quite fun.

I definitely think that KS is making Bojo look more and more each day like a blithering idiot. Surely this is evident to the Tory party as a whole and they may pressure him to resign as PM due to ill health and recovery?

Yes. It's a minor lie by Johnson standards but it's so good to see him being held to account for a fucking change. He must know he can't get away with this sort of bullshit anymore now.

I like listening to Keir Starmer. He's so brisk and stern.

I find listening to him very calming and reassuring. Finally an adult in the room.

Rebecca Long-Bailey has been told to step down after she shared Maxine Peake's article (which I've not even read yet) which apparently has some anti-Semitic stuff in it. Note: my apparently is entirely because I've not read the article.

OOOF.

Also: THAT is how you deal with it. NOT 'we'll refer you to Jennie Formby for a bit"

I JUST SAW THIS. Thank you Mr Starmer. Not that I've seen what she retweeted either.

It very much seems as though there is an adult in charge.

I'm hugely encouraged by this, and it's the sort of thing I was hoping to see back when I was raging at the Labour Party.

Oh great. I hated her and her weird egg shaped head-face.

What does the Labour party (members thereof) have against Jewish people? I don't understand.

I'm watching the whole thing now, having only caught the highlights before. Johnson is AWFUL at this.

Maxine Peake’s interview, with editorial correction by the Independent: https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-ente ... 83206.html

Long-Bailey tweeted the link to the article saying that Peake is an absolute diamond.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

I still find it unfathomable that so many people thought he'd be good at it, though.

Unless it's part of a bigger plan to sacrifice him to leaving the EU before somebody else comes in. I have no idea who though.

This is almost an endorsment:

Gideon has been in a kind of terrified awe of KS since he started.
