Nothing on the Labour website that I can see but I'm assuming the news channels will broadcast whatever Labour are broadcasting. There's a live feed on the BBC news website now.

I'm cross because I want a woman leader, and was going to vote Nandy, but then couldn't.

Ah, I hear ya. I wish Jess hadn't dropped out.

I don't know why I'm calling them all by the first names.

I have washed, ready for this historic moment. :))

I was also leaning towards Lisa but no matter how much she loves buses, I couldn't. :(

BBc says Keir and Angela. David Lammy is on BBC being chirpty about it. I'm okay with this.

Excellent, someone sensible (and pro-EU).

Um. Think about the EU later? There might not be one to go back in in a few years. On the other hand, we might not make it out. :))

Keir victory statement in the Guardian live feed. I approve. I am waiting for shadow cabinet now. *patient* FFS, don't give Nandy Women and Equalities.

I know it’s not of imminent importance however we need someone in opposition who will resist us crashing out at the end of transition this year, as it is really not something that this country and economy should have to take on voluntarily in the circumstances. Ideally to campaign for an indefinite extension.

That’s a really strong acceptance speech. I love him all over again.

I really like Starmer and would have voted for him had I been a member. A Corbynite FB friend is frothing at the mouth.

It kind of is imminent too because the extension needs to be agreed by the end of June doesn't it?

I'm relieved it's Starmer and very much enjoying the idea of frothing at the mouth Nistas.

Perhaps more interesting is the NEC seats that were up for election at the same time - two CLP seats and a BAME seat. All won from the Labour First slate, which is the most 'right wing' in the party. Momentum didn't fully unite behind a slate, which shows their organisation is faltering.

I'll grant you, I don't know much about anything, but some of the appointments KS is making seem quite sound.
