I haven't had my email ballot thing yet, just the email that says they'll send it to me one day.

I can’t work out who is right wing. :) But the very left ones are very clear.

It's worth searching your junk for labourelections@cesvotes.com

This is the Labour First slate;

I think Luke Akehurst is probably a bit of a prick, truth be told, so you might want to swerve him. You can read all of the candidates endorsements and statements when you get the link to vote.

This is the Momentum slate, if you want to avoid, but there is a lot of controversy. Apparently Ann Henderson is a massive TERF and so is Laura Piddock. :mog: It made me warm to them tbh.

There are nine places on the NEC up for grabs and you can number as many as you like. I only numbered one to nine.

321 for the anti-Semitic posts from people arguing they have never seen anti semitism in the labour party.

As Labour is clearly going to need someone else by General Election 2024 I'm putting an early fiver on Andy Burnham and maybe a quid on Dan Jarvis. :))

Why can't Keir last until then?

I love Keir. This is just too good though and he’ll end up being done over in some way by the hard left.

He could last, but it tends to work better for one to do the purge then a nice, fresh face to come in and say 'come on then, let's all unite to get the Tories out'. Obviously, really speaking, Labour don't want half the Corbynistas back, they can all fuck off back under their rocks/to Respect. But a new face gets rid of the baggage Keir will carry on this one.

I was thinking, this reminds me of Kinnock purging militant in the 80s. It didn't get him PM but it did lay the groundwork for Blair and Brown.
