I am not remotely surprised by this, his sense of entitlement is off the scale.

I want to see the flipping flat now, it’s the very least we deserve.

The pictures I've seen look fucking hideous!

I thought I'd seen them, too. A bit like Giles and Mary's place on Gogglebox, with matching William Morris wallpaper and sofas (and doubtless the fabled curtains).

This picture is doing the rounds but I didn't think there were any of the actual flat out there.

That looks like the one I saw.

I'd love to see it too. I thought Keir did a lot better today and really rattled Boris. The fact the electoral commission have said there does seem to be something to investigate also pushes him - he's so obviously done something.
I was interested by Starmer's first question about the bodies piling up - everyone seemed to be suggesting Boris had denied saying it with an outright no, which made Starmer bring up about the ministerial code and having to resign if found to mislead parliament. I think Boris was careful though - the question was 'can the pm tell the house, did he say....' so when Boris says no he could potentially later claim to have meant no, he couldn't tell the house. That would be a hell of s stretch but the little weasel would certainly try it.

I'm also finding it funny that what's really backfired on them is calling it a 'john Lewis nightmare' when most people would love to shop there to furnish their house.

If JL closes in the next year he will have to answer to that, too.

This truly is the most insulting thing (apart from the bodies comment).

It's so misjudged. Most normal people regard JL as either "posh" and expensive or at least a solid good quality/middle class kind of place, so he's really showing himself up there.

It’s like when Heseltine called somebody ‘the sort of chap who buys his own furniture’, except that Johnson is the sort who gets us to buy his for him.

Heseltine was on the receiving end of that. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... urbishment

So, Arlene Foster is stepping down after a no confidence letter. What should we feel about that?

You'd have thought he'd have insisted on inherited everything given the circles in which he moves.

I'm not a fan of Arlene Foster but it's not a good time for a leadership change. Any of the Paisleys still around? :look: A reprise of No Surrender isn't going to help matters. Hopefully it'll push half their voters to the Alliance? :optimist:

Yes, she is likely to be replaced by someone far more hardline which is not a positive thing.

She's already insanely hardline, isn't she? I read that more moderates are in the running. It was on the Guardian. Must be true. :))
