Very good question. What's it going to say that we don't already know?

His own MPs are basically supporting him by asking miscellaneous and vague questions about not very much (with no disrespect to the people who are interested in levelling up in Stoke on Trent).

He's actually undermining the enquiry by mentioning it so much. Now if it clears him everyone will assume he's rigged it (I'm already assuming that)

It will be like the wallpaper 'scandal' - people were furious, but it took so long to get to the root of it all that they were just a bit cross.

There will be frantic backstage attempts to break another, more interesting story to coincide with the results, too.

If this enquiry doesn’t report by the end of the week what the hell are they even doing?

Washing machine guy made me hoot.

Well yes, but when there is something like this going on, if they'd wanted to show disapproval they could have refrained. And yes, Pip - washing machine filters :)).

Interesting that levelling up is something Gove has being banging on about lately more than Johnson though. I'm eyeing everybody very suspiciously

Well, Gove's in charge of it now. When he's not stuck in a lift.

I missed it but I'm disappointed it was KS rather than AR, she does a good line in contempt

Johnson won't resign, he'll brazen this out, he is a venal self serving cunt who literally has no shame. He would sell HIS granny, YOUR granny, and the an entire nation of grandmothers to benefit himself. The only hope we have is that the party will get fed up with him, if nothing else we can always rely on the Tories for unparalleled infighting :scrap:

He might try to impregnate the grannies first. Totally agree about the Tories. If one has the decency to resign (they won't) it could all collapse. Also, if these were all work parties, why is his wife always there?

On BbC2, even Laura K looked furious.

To be honest, I had to stop reading all the testimonies from people who were bereaved. It's heart breaking but then I thought that already. I'm not the person who needs convinced, it's the arseholes who voted for Johnson and his lackeys who defend him. And sadly the latter are such sociopaths that they'll only stop defending him when it's no longer in their interests.
