C was listening to Rory Stewart this morning and I genuinely thought Tom Allen had got serious about politics.

I've just seen Jacob Rees-Mogg described as "some kind of steampunk C-3PO" on Twitter (it was on Question Time)

So now we find out that the massive bellend had an indoor birthday party with a surprise cake and 30 people singing Happy Birthday during lockdown. Apparently No. 10 say he was only there for 10 mins. I thought he’d said he never went to any parties?

I'm sure he just thought it was a surprise work event.

It’s full Black Mirror. Hopefully soon one of his children will eat him on live tv or something.

If all of his children had a go there'd barely be a portion each.
I did enjoy all the tweets about Lulu Lytle being there 'bringing the strands from earlier seasons together for the finale'.

And the suggestions about which other characters to bring back, such as Darius Guppy.

The Met are now going to investigate the parties....

And apparently Sue Grey’s report will be delayed while the Met investigate, sounds like a stitch up to me.

I just read that on Twitter but it sounds like it's going to be a nightmare for Johnson - he may have to be interviewed by the police and now MPs can no longer say to constituents that we must wait for Gray's report. It heaps pressure on ole Johnson.

Thanks for that, that is a more positive take.

It means it will rumble ON AND ON for ages and ages and will continue to cut through as 'investigated by the police' cuts through better than 'investigated by Sue Grey.' More damage, more hysteria, more people being generally cross because they want to know about gas bills and the cost of Corn Flakes.

He won't ever resign, such a narcissist. What happens if he loses the vote of no confidence, does he have to go?

Whether he goes or stays doesn’t really matter, they’re mostly all the same. He was voted in by his party who were under no illusions about the type of man he is.
